MANUEL-TURIZO
Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. The singer has been able to make major international advancements into Latin pop mainstream. Una Lady Como Tu, the hit song from 2016 received the Colombian Kids Choice Award in 2017 for Best Song. In Medellin, Sony distributed La Industria Inc. and then released ADN for his debut full-length album. The album peaked at the rank of 8 places on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca was one of the Top Five hit of Ozuna's Top Five album in 2007 was the album that brought him into Ozuna. He dropped Dopamina which was his top charting second album, in the years following. The year 2021 was the first time he performed in a duo with TINI for her hit stream song Maldita Foto. 2023 was the year 2000 when the hit La Bachata was released. Turizo was brought up in a musical environment, because both his mother and his older brother are musicians. In interviews, he referred to the importance of music as a requirement. He learned how to play the saxophone, guitar, Ukulele, and piano while an infant. The initial goal was to become a vet, but his brother Julian encouraged him to learn singing with an instructor from a Cuban instructor. The end result was that he realized his ability to sing and also altered the direction of his life.
