Rosalia

Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco singer and pop artist. Involved in the margins of traditional and popular music since her teenage years, she is also involved in other genres such as the hip hop soul genre and trap. Her voice has been said by no less an artist than the Flamenco guitar player Pepe Habichuela as sweet and sharp but with a bite like the old ones. El Mal Querer gained her critical acclaim and commercial success when her debut album Los Angeles was released in 2017. This album won it an award called the Latin Grammy Award for Best New Artist. La Fama, featuring The Weeknd is due out in 2021. Motomami was a collaboration with a variety of artists, including Cory Henry, James Blake as well as others. The album was released in on March 20, 2022 following the Saturday Night Live performance featuring the song Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia became the first Spanish solo artist to perform on Saturday Night Live. Motomami's Rosalia, who won The Latin Album of the Year and three Latin Grammy Awards in total for Motomami also became the very first female to win one.
